If you wish to recover your favourite lampshade it will need to be a simple shape.
Basic sewing skills and patience are all that is required.

Lampshade frame with struts (available on the day £6)
Approx. ½ m of fabric
Matching thread
Stretch lining fabric (available on the day approx. £3 per shade)
Approx ½ m calico
Lampshade binding tape (available on the day 20p per m)
Plenty of glass headed pins
Needle
Thimble
Pencil
Scissors
