i can’t quite believe that I have used paper piecing with help from Linda Shinner booth, thanks Linda and Bec , I love the moda fabric and it made me feel cosy, the hexagons are very theraputic  done sitting by the fire, I shall miss my family this year saw am thinking of them running in the snow, the lanterns in the trees all lit. I have used hand appliqué for the centre but you could bond and then put on a border and applied the hexagons over the top, the rest of the quilt is machine pieced and I have stitched the tree tops and lanterns, it’s now being quilted by sandy with holly and Christmas trees.
