A year ago who would of thought we would be locked down for nearly a year, I love my teaching and miss all the students, so while we are locked away I have decided to try and come up with some new projects.  
There will be 12 blocks roughly 1 each month with full instructions and a kit and I hope each block will teach different tips and techniques, which will be useful, but you can change and adapt however you see fit.  The main thing is to enjoy.  If you don’t want to make a quilt you could use these designs for cushions or a wallhanging.
The inspiration for this 1st block ‘First sign of Spring at Cowslip’ has been in my head since last year or before as the view of the town is so magical and different all the time, but during Christmas the moon behind the trees, (which Steve and I planted)  when getting dark is just so lovely, the owls hoot in the trees and there is a fat fox who comes to see me everyday, he looks magnificent so I HOPE  he isn’t naughty!
This Quilt will consist of 12 x 15” blocks combining machine and hand techniques.
*The stripe lattice is not included in the kit as you can choose whatever you like to frame your blocks.
